Cryptopay is a cryptocurrency payment company. It was founded in late 2013 and began operations in February 2014. On 20 March 2014 it raised 100 BTC from Seedcoin Fund.[1] Its earlier UK and EU retail service included buying and selling, a hosted wallet, HMRC money-service-business registration, and a flat 1% fee. Merchant tools included payment buttons, hosted checkout, iframe payments, and an API.

Cryptopay’s public website presents Cryptopay Business as a merchant cryptocurrency payment gateway. Marketing on that site describes accepting and sending crypto payments for businesses, multi-asset acceptance, payouts, and API integration. [2]
