Coinnext was a cryptocurrency exchange for trading bitcoin and altcoins. The exchange offered bitcoin and altcoin trading through a web service and maintained a Twitter account.
By early 2015 the matching-engine software had been published as open source on GitHub under the doomhz/coinnext repository, titled as a crypto currency exchange for bitcoin to altcoins.[1] A Reddit thread from that period described the release as open-source crypto exchange code published after the live venue had stopped.[2]
Operations had ceased by early 2015, when that matching-engine code was published.
