An eWallet in which all that is needed to access and spend the funds in the wallet is the website address (URL).
This allows the service to be used anonymously, without needing even an e-mail address. The site includes a caveat warning about its use:
Instawallet does not aspire to be a Bitcoin bank and as such can only provide a medium level of security. Please do not store more than some spare change here.
The wallet can be accessed via mobile with Instawallet for Android and FriendlyPay for iOS (jailbroken iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch).
History
The site was launched on April 29, 2011[1]. On March 6, 2012 it was announced that the operator of Bitcoin-Central and Paytunia had acquired the service and is now operating it[2].
