Bitonic is a Dutch bitcoin company founded in May 2012. It is among the oldest continuously operating bitcoin firms in the Netherlands. On 21 November 2025 Bitonic announced it had received a MiCAR licence from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) covering exchange, custody, transfer and OTC execution services.[1]
BL3P
Bitonic formerly operated the BL3P trading platform (see also BL3P). Trading on BL3P closed on 20 December 2024. Bitonic announced that as of 4 May 2026 the BL3P website is permanently taken offline.[2] Customers were directed to continue on Bitonic accounts. Treat BL3P as a historical product, not a live exchange.
