Third Key Solutions is a bitcoin security firm announced in March 2015 by lawyer Pamela Morgan (CEO), technologist Andreas Antonopoulos (CTO), and advisor Richard Kagan. Brave New Coin reported the launch on 30 March 2015.[1]
Services
According to that launch coverage, Third Key Solutions focused on secure generation and management of private keys for bitcoin companies, security plans and procedures, crisis management if a key is compromised, and training so clients could operate the processes themselves. In multisignature deployments the firm offered to hold one key in a recovery role while stating that it would never hold enough keys alone to move funds. Morgan framed the product as operational security and key recovery that companies often defer until after an incident.[1]
The firm targeted a summer 2015 commercial launch at the time of the Brave New Coin report.
