SpectroCoin
SpectroCoin is a multi-product crypto wallet and exchange platform founded in 2013. Services on the SpectroCoin brand have been provided by more than one company; do not assume a single legal entity for all users.[1]
Current status (2026)
After 30 June 2026, the EU transitional period under MiCA ended for many providers. SpectroCoin’s Help Centre states that for users whose services are provided by Spectro Finance OÜ, while MiCA CASP authorisation is still being processed, exchange of already-held assets and withdrawals remain available, while other services (for example new crypto deposits, buying with newly added funds, and top-ups) are temporarily unavailable, and new EEA customers cannot complete standard registration and may join a waiting list.[1] Users served by a different company on the SpectroCoin platform may see no change. This is a service limitation pending authorisation, not a permanent shutdown notice.
History
According to SpectroCoin’s about timeline, the company was founded around February 2013, the platform launched in July 2013, and debit cards followed in June 2015.[2]
