Hive
Hive was a lightweight thin client bitcoin wallet for macOS, iOS, Android, and Web, built primarily on bitcoinj with an emphasis on ease of use. It is officially unsupported.[1][2]
History
Hive's macOS alpha was released on 28 September 2013 and promoted at the European Bitcoin convention.[3] The project later acquired Bridgewalker, a euro-oriented Android bitcoin app designed for speed.[4] By 3 February 2014 the macOS wallet left beta for public download.[5] Hive Web launched around the Inside Bitcoins Hong Kong conference of 24–25 June 2014, and a universal iOS wallet became available on 13 August of that period.[6]
On 20 September 2015 founder Wendell Davis announced that the wallet was officially unsupported and recommended other wallets until new maintainers appeared. He stated that the software still worked and that servers would remain online for users who needed them.[1][2][7]

Features included a contacts-oriented interface, open-source licensing, an integrated application platform, SPV startup, Tor support, multi-language packs, automatic updates, Payment Protocol support, a geolocation “Waggle” feature, and multi-token support across platforms.
