Closure notice

The Internet Archive holds copies of minergate.com that include an on-site notice in the page body. The capture archived at 15:07:25 UTC on 27 November 2023 already displayed this text.

"Dear clients, our service is closed. Please contact support@minergate.com for a refund before December 1, 2023. All your requests will be completed by February 1, 2024. Thank you for being with us all this time."[1]

The same notice was still on a later capture archived on 5 August 2024.[2]

MinerGate's closure notice set 1 December 2023 as the refund contact deadline and said requests would be completed by 1 February 2024.

Software

While the service was open, MinerGate offered a GUI miner and a console miner for Windows, in 32-bit and 64-bit builds, and for Mac and Ubuntu. An admin edition for Windows was described as a way to launch the miner on several computers in the background. The old page also said the service supported web mining.

Features listed included a profitability calculator, charts for difficulty, network hashrate, coins in circulation and block reward, two-factor authentication, direct transfers to an exchange, a manually set network fee, support, and an affiliate program described as up to 0.75 percent of a referrer's profit.
