Luxor (Luxor Technology Corporation) is a U.S.-based bitcoin mining pool and mining-services company founded in 2017. Company materials also describe hardware, firmware (LuxOS), energy and fleet tools, and hashrate financial products.[1][2]

History

Luxor's site FAQ and organisation metadata state operations since 2017, headquartered in the Seattle/Bellevue area (Washington, USA), serving retail through institutional miners.[1]

Mining pool products and operations

Official getting-started documentation instructs miners to:

  • Create a Luxor profile and subaccount before pointing hashrate
  • Connect ASICs to the global bitcoin stratum endpoint stratum+tcp://btc.global.luxor.tech:700
  • Use worker name format LuxorSubaccount.WorkerName[2]

Luxor documents a published discount-to-FPPS table for global stratum endpoints. Bitcoin is listed at a 2.50% discount to FPPS on btc.global.luxor.tech:700. Other coins have separate endpoints and discounts.[2]

FPPS

Luxor's revenue documentation describes Full Pay-Per-Share (FPPS): the pool purchases hashrate at a discount to spot FPPS (the discount commonly called the pool fee), taking variance risk so miners receive more predictable payouts that include an estimate of transaction fees.[3]

Other products

Company materials describe LuxOS firmware, ASIC hardware brokerage, Commander fleet tools, energy products, hashrate derivatives, and Hashrate Index data.[1]

Luxor states SOC 2 Type 2 attestations on the corporate site.[1]
