Kraken is a cryptocurrency exchange operated under the Payward corporate group. It offers spot trading and related services across multiple jurisdictions under local licences and registrations.[1]
On 1 May 2025 Kraken announced it had completed the acquisition of NinjaTrader, a U.S. retail futures trading platform; Kraken stated NinjaTrader would continue as a standalone platform under the Kraken suite.[2] On 1 May 2026 Payward announced it had completed the acquisition of Bitnomial (described by Payward as a CFTC-licensed crypto-native derivatives stack in the U.S.).[3]
