Justcoin was a Norway-based Bitcoin exchange founded in May 2013 in Oslo by Andreas Brekken and Klaus Bugge Lund. It traded bitcoin and other digital assets against fiat including NOK, EUR, and USD.
In late October 2014 the operators announced a full shutdown after their bank closed the company’s account and other Norwegian banks declined crypto-related business; deposits stopped, trading closed on 29 October 2014, and customers were told to withdraw by 11 November 2014.[1][2] In November 2014 ANX acquired the Justcoin domain and brand rights and planned to resume the exchange under new management on 24 November 2014.[3] The service is no longer operating. Any later use of the historical domain does not restore the original exchange operator.
