Gatecoin (Gatecoin Limited) was a Hong Kong cryptocurrency exchange. The online platform launched publicly in Q1 2015 and traded bitcoin, other digital assets, and several fiat currencies.[1]
On 13 March 2019 the Hong Kong court granted a winding-up order against Gatecoin Limited; joint and several liquidators were appointed on 20 March 2019.[2][1] Trading ceased under that order. Any later use of the historical domain does not restore the original exchange operator.
