BlockCypher Live
BlockCypher Live is a block-chain browser at live.blockcypher.com operated by BlockCypher. Explorer source is published as open source under blockcypher/explorer on GitHub.[1][2]
Company
BlockCypher was founded in 2014 in Redwood City, California, by Catheryne Nicholson and Matthieu Riou. Operator About copy describes a remote-first team whose mission is to let developers build blockchain applications without running their own full infrastructure.[3]
API and explorer
Alongside the Live explorer, BlockCypher documents multi-chain developer APIs (Bitcoin and other chains listed in current docs) for address and transaction queries, webhooks/notifications, and transaction construction including multisig helpers.[4] The explorer is the human-facing browser; the API is the programmatic product surface.
