BTC China (also known as BTCC) was a China-based Bitcoin exchange. It was among the earliest RMB/bitcoin platforms in the country and was first noted publicly around June 2011.

On 14 September 2017 the company announced that, after considering a 4 September 2017 Chinese regulatory announcement on cryptocurrency fundraising risks and an ICO ban, it would stop registering new users immediately and halt trading on its China-facing exchange on 30 September 2017.[1][2] Contemporary reporting described the move in the context of tightening Chinese regulation of crypto trading platforms; other company services such as mining-pool operations were reported as continuing at the time.[3] The China exchange trading service did not resume. Any later use of the historical domain does not restore the original exchange operator.
