Bitlish was a cryptocurrency exchange operated by BITLISH LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 09564930. Companies House records the incorporation date as 28 April 2015, the registered office (as last filed) as 161-165 Farringdon Road, London, EC1R 3AL, and the company status as Dissolved on 14 September 2021. The SIC code on the overview is 96090 (other service activities not elsewhere classified).[1]

An earlier wiki draft and a Bitcointalk launch post dated the public introduction to around December 2015.[2]

While the service was marketed, the company described itself as combining exchange and "new type bank" style products. The earlier article listed:

Closure

A ccxt GitHub issue quotes an on-site notice saying Bitlish would stop providing services to all customers on 30 March 2020 (withdrawals until 23:00 UTC that day).[3] Companies House records dissolution on 14 September 2021.[1]
