AlphaPoint is a financial-technology company that develops digital-asset infrastructure for institutions. Its current platform covers treasury operations, trading venues, payments and liquidity services for banks, governments, fintech companies, exchanges and brokerages.[1]

History

AlphaPoint was founded in 2013 by people with experience building institutional trading systems. The company's timeline says that its first production exchange deployment was for Bitt.com in 2014. It later worked on projects including Royal Mint Gold with CME Group and infrastructure for El Salvador's Chivo wallet.[2]

Services

AlphaPoint describes its products as infrastructure for managing digital assets across wallets, blockchains and counterparties; operating trading venues; and connecting exchanges, brokerages and other trading platforms to liquidity.[1] The company says that its infrastructure has processed more than US$1 trillion and has supported more than 150 institutions worldwide.[1][2]
