Bitonic was founded in May 2012, making it the oldest Bitcoin company in The Netherlands. Bitonic's main service is bitonic.nl[1], which offers instant bitcoin purchases through iDeal and Bancontact. In addition to bitonic.nl, Bitonic runs a European bitcoin exchange: BL3P[2], the main Dutch news website for Bitcoin: bitcoin.nl[3] and a consultancy branch [4].
History
Bitonic first started as iDealCoin in March, 2012, officially registering as a business in May 2012. iDealCoin was renamed to Bitonic, an anagram to Bitcoin, in June 2012 [5].
