Mercado Bitcoin

A market exchange where bitcoins can be bought and sold.

The only currency traded for bitcoins by this service is BRL (Brazilian Real).

Adding funds

• Bank transfer through Banco do Brazil (no fees)
• Liberty Reserve
• MoIP (Money over IP) which transacts using the bank wire network. Transactions are processed manually and may take 24 hours after to be processed.

History

The service was announced in July 13, 2011. The market did open to a limited trial later that month and opened registration to all on August 08, 2011
