A small collection of people who Investigated incidents related to Bitcoin.
Investigators focused on exposing fraudsters and scammers in the Bitcoin community, and followed a strict mission statement. Strove to be as transparent as possible.
This small collection of people has essentially disbanded and is no longer active in this capacity.
History
The Bitcoin Police formed in early August, 2011 following the MyBitcoin incident which caused losses to members valued over one million U.S. Dollars.
