Alfacash
Alfacash is a fixed-rate, non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange service operating at alfa.cash. Its website advertises automatic coin swaps, an application programming interface (API), and referral and discount programs.[1]
History
According to the company's history page, Alfacash was founded in May 2012 as an electronic-currency exchange service. It began accepting Bitcoin in early 2013 and added Litecoin and Dash later that year. The company introduced an automatic-exchange feature in 2015 and an API in 2017.[2]
Service
The homepage describes the service as non-custodial and advertises fixed exchange rates and automatic swaps.[1] Its developer documentation provides endpoints for creating orders, obtaining rates and order status, validating addresses, checking exchange limits, and retrieving the supported-currency list.[3]
The available assets, payment methods and exchange directions can change; current availability is listed on the service rather than reproduced here.
Restrictions and compliance
Alfacash's terms prohibit use by nationals or residents of the United States and its territories, as well as people in other restricted jurisdictions. The terms state that transactions are checked on-chain under a Know Your Transaction process and may be delayed, suspended, cancelled or refunded according to risk scoring. Alfacash may request information about the source or destination of funds.[4]
The company also publishes an anti-money-laundering policy describing customer identification, transaction monitoring and reporting procedures.[5]
