BTC Guild is a mining pool.

This pool pays out with either Pay-per-Share (PPS) or Pay-per-Last-N-Shares (PPLNS) reward systems.

The service was first publicly available on May 09, 2011[1].

Reward distribution

  • Pay-per-Share: 5% fee.
  • Pay-per-Last-N-Shares: 3% fee (pays out block transaction fees and orphaned blocks)


Mining Protocols

  • Getwork servers with optional merged mining of Namecoins.
  • Stratum servers utilizing variable difficulty (20 shares per minute) and manual minimum difficulty selection (up to 512).
