Vocabulary vs Glossary
Luke, any reason for preferring the term "vocabulary" versus glossary?  A list of definitions for jargon is called a glossary in most English-language literature so it seemed appropriate and your revert might have made more sense if it were accompanied by comments in the edit history (my apology if I failed to notice them). * You might be right, but "Bitcoin" as a page prefix has been phased out... --Luke-jr 19:24, 6 November 2011 (GMT)

Ok, Thank you for your response
Bitcoin Addresses version 2
Are the developers moving on to version 2 addresses? Is there any discussion on this? What prompted you to update the Address article?

Tonal bitcoin
Hi Luke. I just thought it right to let you know I've noticed a consensus appears to have been reaches about Tonal bitcoin both here on this wiki and on github. I do realise this is a hugely emotional subject for you, and I suspect because of this you're finding it hard to give rationalle for why it should be included. I would like to suggest that rather than revert the changes I'd made (which may be construed as bad-faith edits by some), that you really make an effort to come up with solid reasons for its inclusion, that are factual, and not points of view, and please try to avoid strawman arguments as that is likely just to weaken your case. I would very much look forward to hearing a strong case for inclusion of Tonal Bitcoins, and I am sure someone as intelligent as you (I'm not being sarcastic) can come up with better arguments than you have done so far. Thanks for your valuable contributions to bitcoin so far, and I do hope you stick with the project (as you have suggested you'd leave if it doesn't go tonal) and we can find a way for decimal and tonal fans to coexist without too much confusion :) --Rebroad 23:07, 20 March 2012 (GMT)
Base 8 bitcoin
Hi Luke. I've been thinking some more about alternative bases for bitcoin. I think for most people it would be better to have a base 8 bitcoin. That way the digits 0 to 7 can still be used, which all are familiar with, and it doesn't require new fonts, and keyboard, etc, but gives all the advantages you were talking about, well, the dividing by two advantage anyway. --Rebroad 15:14, 21 March 2012 (GMT)
I think regarding Tonal, I can see the attraction, and I especially like the sound of the numbers and the new vocabulary. I don't think it deserves to have a strong presence here on this wiki nor in the bitcoin project, but I certainly would welcome seeing a Tonal Bitcoin websites, which has it's own wiki and branch of the bitcoin project. I think that would be the best way to go given the apparent minority demand so far for Tonal. If demand for tonal picks up, then it can always be merged back into the main bitcoin project. What do you reckon? --Rebroad 15:14, 21 March 2012 (GMT)
