An online e-wallet used for transferring funds from banks. Once funds are in Paxum they can be transferred to and from some Bitcoin exchanges.
Paxum users can have accounts in one or more of the following currencies:
- U.S. Dollar (USD)
- Euro (EUR)
- Canadian Dollar (CAD)
History
MtGox first supported Paxum as a method for adding USD funds accounts on December 7, 2010[1].
Paxum added EUR and CAD accounts on July 15, 2011[2].
TradeHill started support for Paxum as a method for adding funds and withdrawing on July 28, 2011 for all three currencies that Paxum support[3]. Mt. Gox announced support for deposits of the newly supported currencies EUR and CAD on July 29, 2011[4].
