BTC Guild is a mining pool.

This pool pays out with either Pay-per-Share (PPS) or Pay-per-Last-N-Shares (PPLNS) reward systems.

The service was first publicly available on May 09, 2011^[1].

Pay-per-Share: 5% fee.
Pay-per-Last-N-Shares: 3% fee (pays out block transaction fees and orphaned blocks)

Getwork servers with optional merged mining of Namecoins.
Stratum servers utilizing variable difficulty (20 shares per minute) and manual minimum difficulty selection (up to 512).
