bitcoinlocator was a location service that showed the locations on a map where goods and services of the Bitcoin economy were offered. The service allowed service providers, exchanges and merchants to participate by adding a marker to the map so that the visitor to the site only sees nearby offers.
History
This service was first offered on July 20, 2011.[1] The site has since closed.[when?]
