Pecunix is a digital currency backed by gold. The company holds gold in reserve, and issues currency units denominated in grams of gold (Pecunix GAU).
The payment fee is 0.50% of the payment amount up to 100.00 GAU and 0.15% of any amount over 100.00 GAU to a maximum fee of 3.00 GAU. The fee may be paid by either the buyer or the seller, or the fee may be split 50/50. There is no cost to open or maintain a Pecunix account.
